Q:

HPA help please?? How to fix

I’m having a problem filling my tank with compressor; specifically air leaking from connection from Diablo filter to tank. Posted this on AGN with pictures, here’s the link to that post.

I already got my Orings in from the O ring store,
That was fast.

GKU, thanks for reply. Mike directed me to a post you made in the Compressor portion of the forum. It was very helpful, thanks. I was able to rob an o-ring from an older fitting that I had….fit perfectly. The links you posted in the other post to o-rings will fit perfectly. Thanks again…you guys make TAG my favorite forum.

Sorry for the late reply, was helping another member here ……….

My Diablo filter wip came with one that looked like that also.
The female foster that came attached has a Double/2 O-rings inside to be able to handle that maxing out repetitive top fills.

I’ve stacked A70 in first followed by a A90, the male foster make contact with the harder A90 and the softer A70 behind it acts as a spring.

Caution also, if you see any metal wear and tear going on with the Fosters I’d change them and get a new pair !

On the tanks Forster Male connect this one seem to fit compatibly well with the Female Foster on the Diablo.

Mike,

I saw your post and it was very helpful, thank you. Looks like I need a few of those o-rings in GKU’s post.

I just found out that these things have O rings to.
I have a post about it down on the compressor site.

Did you blow the oring out of the fitting? Or maybe the oring on the inside is pinched or chewed up.
