Q:

Huben K1 initial impressions

I received my Huben yesterday and having not even shot it yet i considering returning it just based on the overall quality of the gun.

For $2000 that is cost me to buy here in Europe i did not expect a gun with a coated plastic stock but was expecting something at least close the the synthetic stocks of the Cricket or Wildcat but instead this is a a heavy plastic stock that has been coated to look like the finish of the above.

The magazine itself does not seem to be coated and has the look of an antique rusted metal.

The shroud does not work very well at all and having 10 other pups i can say that every single one of those are quieter then this and neither have i ever been disappointed with any of my other gun purchases but there is always a first and the Huben is it just based on the overall quality.

The $1500 US price is more towards what this gun might be worth although i have seen better build in cheaper guns.

EU dealers. Considering this gun costs you $900 (or less) shipped from China you really need to re-evaluate your prices.

If it is not to personal, what do you work with? You seem to have an awful lot of money 😀

Oh, and did you ever say what your favourite gun in the collection was?

I wish.

Im a small scale dealer in high end audio equipment and anything thing else that will put a penny in my pocket 🙂

I just posted this on another thread

If i wanted spot on accuracy i would pick up my Cricket or R3M (Vulcans not tuned yet) The Wildcat is also a very accurate gun. I dont think i would be able to pick just one gun if i had to choose and would have to be both of these.

Recently is has mostly been the Impacts as i do like playing around with the settings on those and still looking for the sweet spot.

I did a little digging on them a while back and was told by one vendor to run for cover. That is ashamed. I would get a full refund.

Contacted the dealer within 30 minutes of opening the package asking for a refund. Little loss with having to pay shipping back but at least not stuck with this piece of shit.

I have heard nothing but shit about this gun, seeing as to how many guns you have I say this is confirmation. This gun is shit, don’t waste your money.

I say return it for a full refund if possible, not worth so much money

I have not bothered shooting it and have already contacted the seller and confirmed the return.

I dont care how good it shoots (if it did) for this kind of money the quality needs to be there also.

Good thing that came out this is i finally bought a compressor for this gun to be able to always fill to 300 so at least i got that not for my others 😀
