Hunting partner
The Mrs wants to come out shooting so i need to buy her something to shoot with.
I have looked at a few options, Rapid 7, BSA R10, HW100….
problem is, not only does she not like the EDgun 👿 , she has a dominant eye problem.
she is right handed but shoots far better with her left eye so an ambidextrous stock is in order so i can use this air rifle when i fancy it.
What do you guys suggest?
thinking the HW100 at the moment…
PS if anyone local fancies a lamping session do let me know as my hunting friend is well under the thumb. Horsham, west sussex area.

My girlfriend finds my superten too heavy, I’d say it was about the same size as a rapid. I wouldn’t bother with an R10 as they have too many issues regarding accuracy amongst a whole host of other things. The HW100 is a cracking gun, without a doubt my favourite hunting rifle aside the S10.

I found a few ambi rapid stocks on ebay yesterday so might look into them a bit more. best take her to a shop and get her to hold a few and see what fits best.
(this is much an excuse to buy another rifle as it is to have her come hunting with me) i was quite upset that she dont like the EDgun.

I’ve heard good stuff about the HW100 off a few people but I’ve never tried one. I have shot the S200 but I may be abit small for you. I liked It when I had a play with one anyway and It’s much cheaper than the HW100 and has an ambi stock. I’ve allready told you my impresions on the Rapid MK2 but I don’t know If It’s available with an ambi stock?

It’s backwards and forwards at the moment. She likes the look of the HW100, Rapid and the R10 but after your comment about the R10 that is now out the question. One issue is enough to put me off when it costs £650.00
She is going to handle the HW100, Rapid (ambi stock) and S10.
Just wish there was an EDgun in the dam shop i am taking her to.
