HW100 comes home after MONTHS in the shop.
Just had to show off a little.
Sent it out in November (I think, been too long), after only having it 2 weeks. Had a slow air leak. I only put a few mags through it at the time. Only needed an hours worth of work but I got stuck behind a long line of repairs that were already backed up due to the holiday rush and a huge shipment that came in from England I think.
Haven’t gotten it past 30y yet but I just shot a 30y 15 bull target for a match I’m in and beat the best I’ve done to date with any air rifle I’ve owned, including the EDgun. Others were up to the task but trigger on this one isn’t much heavier than my IZH 46M and it definitely has the power to carry the heavy .177 pellets to (and past) 30y.
Here’s the rest of the crowd. Lighting in the room sucks so this is the best you get until I find a decent yard sale lamp somewhere. Just hung the shelving stuff, need to rearrange a little to fit one more “shoe rack” for the pistols and even some things out.

Will do. Your strap on (on the second gun down on the left) is a far superior product to the imitation strap on on the 4th gun down on the left.
As I understand it, the imitation one dates back to before my time with AF rifles. I acquired it as an add on to a larger deal when I was swapping some AF stuff around and moving toward CO2.

Bet it’s a beast in .22. What’s your shot count like?
Before the repair I dropped off the reg in the middle of my 4th (14 round) mag but I could finish the mag without dramatic POI shift in my backyard (20 -30y) range. I lost enough that I think I’ve just settled on stopping at 3 mags. Gotta get the chrony out and see if power levels changed… just don’t have much data from before the repair to compare to.

The HW100 is my only multishot rifle (CP88 is my only multishot pistol). My shooting routine includes a slow reload as part of my rest period/routine between shots. The only additional investment I plan in the HW100 is a single shot loader from a company in the UK.
Of course, given the option at the time, I would have gone with a multishot EDgun over the single shot. Now if he can pull off the semi-auto version…. I might just upgrade.

Here is the match target I referenced earlier.
White center = .25 inches.
Shot at just a hair over 30y, less than 48 hours and 60 shots after the gun returned from a 4 month vacation in CA. I expect this to improve, I’m also motivated to weigh and sort pellets for the first time.
