hw97
I am thinking of taking a break from precharged rifles and getting my self a Springer. I have been eyeing the hw97 for a while. Its very accurate, has some power to it. I like the way it looks. Its on the expensive side but hw makes fine products so it’ll be worth every cent. If I like it ill probally sell off all my pump rifles!
If anyone here has one tell me your thoughts. I was going to get this or the hw90.
Thanks,
-Matt

Had the 97k in .22…. excellent gun. Could group it under an inch at 50 yards no problems…. BUT…. was extremely pellet picky. In fact, it was THE most pellet picky gun I’ve ever seen. Would shoot JSB’s ok… sometimes… but RWS HP for some odd reason… would stack them all day. I tuned it myself and it was running at 18fpe.
I traded that gun to a shooting buddy and got a 97 in .177. Easily the most accurate springer I have ever shot. Butter smooth (tuned) and accurate with a variety of pellets, though I normally shoot JSB 8.44’s out of it.
