Q:

I am RETIRED!

Man its official. On june 9th i retired after 24 yrs in the Corps. Picked up my last paperwork yesterday. i am sure it will set in sometime soon. So on the short plan is to scrub the poo outa the house and turn it over. Then me and my 13 yr old son will embark on a cross country journey. We have a 7×16 trailer loaded with fishing gear, guns, tools and camping gear. Me him the dog and bearded dragon will be in the truck. We will camp and fish our way across the states from cali to florida. Will be an awesome trip to start a new beginning. Just finally relax for the first time in over 24 years. Will miss some of it will never regret leaving some. But i know my gunnys will pick up where i left off and continue as if i never left. Thats the true test. If you can walk away with no negative impact, then you have trained the rest successfully.

Thanks all, Its been stupid busy! Was supposed to slow down in retirement not get 300 times more honey do’s! lol Its been good sofar. No more worring about other peoples kids and spending days teaching them how to not over spend or teaching them how to balnce an account and that a 19 yr old with $1200 a month cant spend $1900 on a car a nd insurance. Oh and if some one gets a DUI, I don’t fucking care! I don’t have to explain to 4 levels of the chain of command why I failed to keep some retard in bed at 3 am on a sunday when I was! But I will not lye! I do miss a lot of the general day to day dumb ass stuff that it is so hard to keep a straight face on while making some idiot cry.

Enjoy your retirement while you are still young and capable! Take lots of photos and print them!
