Q:

I bought a BSA SuperTEN MK3 Bull Barrel and a Piglet

The wait for my Edgun has been driving me crazy and I had to get something else to shoot until its arrival so I bought a used BSA SuperTEN MK3 Bull Barrel .22 and it’ll be arriving soon. I have heard a lot of great things about the S10 but we’ll see. This will be my second experience with a PCP other than the Talon SS that I sold. I like the fact that this is regulated, can be filled to 232 bar and will give me 40 good shots before having to be refilled. It looks like it’s very consistent accoring to the chrono pic sent to me. I bought it from the Yellow Classifieds from a guy named Mike Nunes. He seems to have pages of great feedback on the BOI so I don’t expect any problems. The first picture isn’t of the actual gun but I thought it was a good picture of someone elses Super 10. The other pic is from the S10 I bought. Mike’s pics were not great and mostly were of specific areas of the S10 to show its condition. I’ll post pics when I get it. Does anyone here have any extra clips for the BSA Super 10?

The other toy on the way is a small 4500 psi tank called the AIRHOG PIGLET

This is a 4500 psi carbon tank from http://www.airhog.com called the Piglet. This is not on Airhog’s website yet but will be soon. It has replaced the Pigmee and the Warthog. They are no longer available. The Piglet is a 17 cubic foot tank and only weighs 6 lbs when full. This litttle sucker will easily fit in a backpack so I’ll have all the shots I need, well a lot anyway, if I ever go hunting or plinking far from the vehicle. The best part is that it’s free to fill at Sports Chalet!!! They will fill a tank under 30 cubic feet with air for free!!! FUCK YA! They normally charge $5 for a fill and they are able to fill up to 7000 psi! 😯

This is the tank to get if you have a Sports Chalet near you. I have one 3 miles from my house!

Bobby 🙂

Man I am glad you like it…..It is a killin machine…..Smooth, quiet, and
plenty powerful enough for most anything…..It is definately one of the
last to go if you were to start selling off guns….I have tried different
baffels and nothing worked as well as the factory setup….Now if you drill
out and thread the end cap, you can add a 6″ extension and make it
virtually silent…AZ made a spacer to fit between the end cap and the
extension to keep the extension lined up with the bore….But even
without an extension it is quiet…Looks like you had a great day….

She shoots great! I didn’t get a chance to zero her at any distance but it’s accurate enough for now to do the job! I will zero at distance on paper when I get a chance this weekend and will post results along with number of shots from a fill and fps. This rifle is as quiet as I would ever need it to be outside! All you can hear is the hammer slap. When indoors it is definitely quiet but could maybe be quieter with some better baffles in the bull barrel. I tend to shoot outside so no complaints in the sound department at all. It is quieter than my Talon SS with my 18″ barrel and a GTBJ shroud on it was :). Here are a few of my first shots at a buddy’s parents’ property after getting a close range zero at home. Did I mention already she shoots great!!!

These pictures were taken with my camera phone so not the best.

3 SHOTS 3 KILLS!!!

1st shot and first kill with the BSA SuperTEN Bull Barrel .22 after scope was mounted

Second shot ever with BSA Super 10!!

Third shot!!!

This baby is just too much fun to shoot! 😆 I bought this to keep me busy until my Edgun arrived then I was going to sell her but I might just have to keep her.

Bobby

sweet gun let us know how it shoots when you gwt some time with her

These are my Warne Quick-detachable rings that I love because I am able to use the same scope on multiple rifles. They were the perfect height until I had to add the dovetail to weaver rails.

I had the exact same problem….I have QD rings but with the weaver rail
they are too high…..I am hoping they fit on the Edgun….There is still
hope…
Crap….I thought I heard the UPS truck….*#$&^**&^#^(@^%(^ 😡

Now ya talkin……Sweet…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If those rings are high, you could use Med…If they are Med, you could
use low….I likes my scope lowwwwwww

Here’s some indoor pics. I’ll get some outside later.

I finally got the weaver rails on. I’ll post pics once I get the scope mounted.

I was trying that but I’ll try harder. What brand is it? Mine is pretty tight.

Try one side and then the other…Not sure what brand I have

I have the same dovetail to weaver mounts you have in the picture but mine wont slide onto the BSA rail. It must be because of the 13mm rail vs. a 11mm rail. I will buy something today.

Put a flat head screw driver in the channel on the botton and open it up…Works on my BSA’s

My BSA SuperTEN arrived today and was waiting for
me when I got home. I was in the process of mounting my scope on the
S10 when I realized that I don’t have dovetail rings only weaver. 😥
I will buy a cheap set of dovetail rings tomorrow so I can shoot this
thing. I’m going to have to buy a dovtail to weaver rail for my S10 so I
can use my good rings.

I’ll post pics tomorrow

Ok, now it is tomorrow..Where are the pictures already?????
The BSA rail is a 13mm rail compared to the 11mm dovetail….I use
Accushot rings and I flip the floating part of the clamp on the rings
over…Look at a clamp closely and you can see that the top and bottom
are different…Might be able to do the same with any ring but I am not
sure….I have a set of dovetail to weaver mounts.. These are 2 seperate
pieces…
