Q:

I bought a Hill pump.

Got an air drying thing with it too. What’s all the chat about them being hard to pump? I went from 2000psi to 2900psi and it wasn’t particularly strenuous.

Maybe because I’m 6’5″ and 14 stone? 😕 😆

It really is very nicely made though, and smoooth. I would have prefered one of the new ones that has the easy-access o-ring, but they’re not available over here yet and having one shipped from the States would have incurred about $10,000 in customs theft.

Still, whatever model you go for I recommend it over filling from a tank and all the bother that involves. 😀

remember to use your legs not your back !

i have allways had a slightly bad back, but i do blame the 7 years pumping on why its so bad today….

It’s all about technique. 5’9 and 130lbs, I’m not big. But I don’t have a problem. When I first started, it was very hard, but it’s easy when you figure out how to do it.

I’d have to agree.

I’m only 5’11” but have 225 to put on my Hill Pump. I usually pump it up 2 or more times a day at this point. Very glad I got one. It’s very nice and very smooth.
