Q:

I bought another air rifle. I think I have a problem!

I just bought another air rifle after telling myself that I would stop after buying the Edgun and the MCT! What’s even worse is that the MCT is so new, and the weather has been so bad, that I haven’t even had a chance to Shoot her outside yet to test for accuracy at different distances. Here’s what happened.

I called AoA today checking to see if they received their shipment of the 30mm Sportsmatch scope rings I had ordered. I then asked if they had any 50 ft/lb Air Rangers in stock? Kip said they just pulled a used one out of the box yesterday and that the rifle is in new condition and was purchased new 6 months ago. It also came with a $100 Centerpoint scope and some 1″ Sportsmatch rings. Even better is that it’s the .25 Ranger! He ran a chrono string for me and it’s averaging 48 fpe using H&N 31 grain pellets in a 40 shot string! This would have been gone in a flash if it had made it to their used gun section online!

There was a 50 ft/lb Air Ranger in .22 caliber for sale on AoA’s used section last week. I was first in line for it but when they tested it for me, it was only putting out 42-43 fpe. They tried tuning it for me to shoot 46-47 fpe using 21.1 gr. Kodiaks but it would only get 15 shots and the consistency was not good at that power so I passed on it and they brought its power back down to where it performed best. They said while they were testing and tuning it for me 4 other people had called to buy it so as soon as I said I didn’t want it, it was sold to the next person in line. The Ranger I just bought can actually be called a 50 ft/lb air rifle and it’s in .25 cal.!!! I have wanted a .25 since I owned my Talon SS! I just couldn’t pass on the price so it’s on it’s way to California and I should receive it sometime next week. 😀

I bought a FX Royale 400 in walnut and wish I still had it but sold it to buy the MCT. It’s still windy but currently not raining so I might get finally get some outside shooting time with the MCT today. If I do I’ll post pics of paper later.

Oh yea…. Now I remember…. Still a good decision…. Hope it clears for
ya soon….

Didn’t you buy an AA410 while waiting for the EDgun?
A collection doesn’t get any better than what you have now…

I’m getting 100 fpe with my AAA .25 condor…just thought I’d rub that in your 50 fpe faces 😆

You just bought my dream rifle. 😈 If it just doesn’t live up to your expectations, drop me a line, you lucky devil. Nice purchase. 😀

I’m getting 49+ fpe out of my .25 Airwolf with 35.8g eunjins for 75 shots.

Damn good deal there !! I also looked at the AR in 22 and 25 on the 50lb. The 80 is just too damn loud and too much air. But your gun is very nice indeed. Let us know how she shoots.

Also, there may be room in our next therapy sessions for you if you’re interested… 😆
