I cant get to zero
I need you guy advice, pls help me with my r3m 22 cal matador. I cant get it to zero it keep shooting high to a point that my elevation is max out to UP position and still shooting high. I have a hawk sidewinder tactical 8.5x25x42 with medium high scope ring.. What should i do. Hoot reconmeded put shim at the rear scope ring that didnt work…

Yes, it make alot of sense i dont like the idea of putting shim i dont see any other edgun owner do it.
If the barrel is shooting higher than the scope is pointed, shouldn’t you shim the front ring?

A few questions for you:
1. At what distance are you trying to zero
2. Have you taken your gun apart before
3. When you take off the baffle cover in the front, any signs of clipping?
These will help us narrow down the cause. Off the bat, my guess would be a clipping in the baffles. I’ve had my share of clippings and the first sign of clipping when I shoot is when my scope runs out of elevations and I can’t get the POI between my crosshair.
