Q:

I enlarged my PCP collection

Just received my STD synthetic .22 Cricket. I love the touch of this stock, very soft. It also came with a numbered air gauge and synthetic cheek rest. Not wood painted black. Based on AOA’s testing, it is shooting in the low 900’s. Will probably have to adjust it down a little but I am glad that I have the option to shoot hotter if I wanted to later. I am not missing any mags, came with the fill probe and extra O-rings. Time to get it scoped!

Nice addition to the family Donny! I really like the cheek piece, are the new guns coming with the CP new design?

Donny, thanks for the info, I was thinking about that particular LDC, sounds like its not that effective. That Ville, what a grand fellow, one rare German LDC for just a few suggestive pics of you in your sexy thong. You know those pics are currently in the possession of Dr. Evil and being posted to International forums as we speak!

I was warned early on by Uncle Hoot to never ever sent requested photos to Sir Ville. You know he has a new video camera, but never posted any air gun related videos. I wonder WHY? :suprisedn: :suprisedn:

Enjoy you new Cricket, and the shame of all the rest will be forgotten, eventually!

Looking good Donny :8:, just got my UPS label today :D. Cheers

For you Larry, I am going to put my sexy thong on. You are correct, the silver adapter came from WWAG and the HW100 Moderator came from Germany with the help of Sir Ville. In my opinion, my .25 R3M is quieter with the NC shroud and LDC. With this HW100, I can still see a lot of air being pushed out. It might be slightly quieter than the OEM shroud but not by much. This is with my fps set at 894. It also adds a good amount of length to the OAL of the gun. So right now I am sticking with the OEM and maybe contacting Neil for a shroud. I already have an 8 inch LDC from him that is very effective.

Looks great Donny, can you tell us about the LDC, in your pic? It looks like the barrel adapter that WWAG sales, is it quiet? Where did you find the LDC?

I love animals too right next to the mashed potatoes. 😯

Thanks Charlie, yes the .22 is for backyard shooting paper/birds but mostly paper because my wife is an animal lover. She’ll kill me if she finds out a bird is between my cross hair lol. Funny thing is, a sparrow has nested inside of my pellet trap. I’ll try to take a picture later. But yeah, she has asked me to shoot somewhere else and let the bird enjoy some sexy time. The .22 is a lot cheaper to shoot than the .25. Plus with the PA shortage, it doesn’t help. I don’t think there will be another gun in the picture for a while. The synthetic .22 actually shoots pretty well off hand so don’t think I’ll get a .177. Prices for .177 and .22 pellets are almost the same.

Hi Donny,

Congrats! Looks very nice. Is .22 for backyard paper shooting? and your .25 Matador for hunting ? SECode gets .177 Compact and it shoots very well, quiet and fun. It makes me feel I need one. What is your next in your collection? Hammingbird .177?

Nice piece you have there. The cheek piece is just wonderful. FYI the proper way to get best regulator performance is to turn regulator down to the max pressure you shoot the gun. So if you decide 905 is the best speed for accuracy you then need to go in and set regulator to a lower pressure that is as close to the actual amount of pressure needed to shoot at that speed.

Good observation Jaime boy. I didn’t click the rear all the way down. This thing is on there tight. No chance of it flying off unless you pry it off.

quote dman1114:

It looks like it swoops up in the rear? Is it down flat? Or does it just naturally contoured like that?
