I got a new toy this weekend. Don’t laugh… A Tau 7!
I do not know anything about them. If you know anything about them please tell, I have a ton of questions…

Mine is also a .177. I have some questions for you and Riverside… I am able to fill it from the big C02 cylinder but have no idea how to use the small 7-gram or 12-gram cylinders.
I am just about out of C02 and the tank is stamped 1983 so my chances of getting it filled are probably pretty slim.
Do I have to remove something from the grip that will allow the 12-gram cylinders to be inserted into the grip area? Am I missing an adapter? It has a tubular spanner and two small cap adapters that look like piercers but I am unsure how it all goes together.
Also, is there anything I can get to allow me to fill from the bulk paintball C02 tanks. The threads on the tank that it came with are very different as it screws directly to the gun? Or is that the adapter you are talking about Riverside?
And… How do you drain it for storage?

Tau 7 are bad ass. I had one and loved it. But it was a .177 and after awhile decided I would let it go to a target shooter.
The guy who bought it did so because he did not want to loan out his STEYR pistol. So friends and family got to shoo the Tau7. Guess what? It was just as accurate as his Steyr. He was surprised and super happy to get it.
I would buy one in .22 again in a heart beat. Great guns 😀
nothing wrong with TAUs
have a couple of the .22 TAU 7 Silhouettes
deadly accurate, match grade triggers. Power can be jacked a bit, over 700FPS with the much longer barreled Silhouette.
little Timmy at MAC1 does bulk fill conversions to the cap so you can use the same 3.5 oz tanks as on the LD or regged HPA
real nice rigs
keep in mind it’s not reccomended you keep any of the Czech guns under pressure during storage unless you upgrade the O rings

I’ve never filled from the bulk tanks, in fact I just sold the two I had on ole’ Yeller
you simply drop a cart in the gun and screw the piercing cap on
to drain just slowly unscrew the cap
I would give MAC1 a call and see what Tim has to offer

I still need to dig one of my TAUs out and measure the angle, I am close to positive its near identical to the LD and if so you & you go hangy tank you should be able to use one of WOKs new LD stocks
