WOW
In the first place, your losing accuracy at those speeds.
Secondly, it’s too damed fast for the pure lead and such light pellets. It can cause the pellet to blow up on contact rather than penetrate.
And finally, your shooting at the wrong spot. It should be between the eye and ear for the softest point of the skull. AND THIS TAKES ACCURACY!
You need to go to a much heavier slug to better assure that you get full penetration, instead of a very likely blow up an failure. This is how game gets inhumanely injured! If you are going to Hunt live game, It is your responsibility to do it properly, take the animal down as quick and humainly as possible.
Right now, you are going down a very irresponsible road. The typical speed is king attitude that markes you as a ultra wet behind the ears newby and a rank amature. . Pay attention. People have been trying to help you hear, but it is just going in one ear and out the other.
You keep asking questions, and you keep ignoring the answers.
Jerry, Educate this Kid!
At this point, you are pushing far less power than a .22 hi speed SHORT!!! You need less velocity, More weight. 😉 Pay attention. We aren’t new to this around here 😉
Where is Walt when you need him. Jump in here Walt!
And pay attention to these Guy’s when they tell you somthing. Either that or go back to a Kid’s BB Gun forum and leave these Toys to the Big Boys!
chrony is set 3 ft from muzzle and it is shrouded
Ah ha ! The numbers ! 😀
Looks like that .22 is putting out as much power as it can already. The Blod/Selphb valve may give you a little more, but looking at your numbers I’d say not alot.
As Jerry says, you should be looking to punt heavier stuff rather than try to get silly speeds. Muzzle fps means nothing when the pellet gets to the target. Otherwise you’d use a 10grain pellet doing 1400fps at the muzzle,(not that any of us have found a standard pellet that stays accurate at supersonic) only to find that 50 yards down range its got nothing left.
If you are out shooting piglet, you want a .25 with the Surefire Slugs (Jerry Slugs) (( Timmy Slugs)) !!
If you want total bannanas power, contact Blodnob for a bigbore valve.
How far you got the chrony from the muzzle, and do you have a shroud on it?
after the first of the year im gonna buy a .25 cal condor setup
No, but if you want a lot more power you should consider going to .25. If you can fund it, it is more than worth it.
are these pellets u speak of withe the rings available in 22 cal
Depending on the exact weight of the 7 rings, you’re getting around 112-115 FPE out of them or about 20-25 FPE more than the faster, lighter Eun Jins. I expect the BC is higher for the 7 rings as well, which means more of the energy you expend makes it to the target. That’s where I was going with the mass trumps speed thing.
Sure, why not go faster? Well, if you’re approaching supersonic, you’re better off with more weight to make power as accuracy will drop off and you also run up against the fact that efficiency is falling off fast.
I’m shooting the seven rings at 830-850fps. 43 grain ej’s at 980fps. If I could get them to go faster I would certanly try. I don’t need it, but why not?
i shoot them behind the ear
how bout more speed with more mass gets more power i have a 9mm career 201s also i gust like to get up close and personal with these things
Ok now that’s funny. A condor will definately take a hog, but you better be brain shootin or your gonna get hurt. If your gettin dime size groups your G2G.
You either need to get a bigger caliber gun (recommended) or use heavier ammo. More mass builds power faster than more speed with light pellets.
I think he has some ready to sell right now to.

Knife,
Hey dude, how’s the back treating you? I hope the pain is letting up some.
I see you’ve spotted the latest speed freak! 😆 😆 😆
RJ mentioned getting a .25 after the new year so maybe he’s catching on to the mass makes power fact. I suspect that when he gets the tool set up properly and aims at the right spot, he won’t have as many “close calls” as before.
