Q:

I guess I’m gonna have to keep the muzzle outside the door

Trying to shoot through a slightly opened door in this frigid weather is going to get me in trouble. I have to get the wood filler out quick before my wife notices!!!!!!!!!

No, I guess if he has survived all the predators, he’s healthy and happy today…. 😆

but you got the rabbit right?

LOL….Yep, my little oops cost me $145 bucks. Was riding through the pasture in my truck and stopped to take a pot shot at a rabbit. Gun out the window, good firm rest with my arm on the top edge of the door, shooting over the side door mirror, crisp clear image of the rabbit in the scope. Pulled the trigger and a shower of fine white dust settled all around me.

Forgot to take in consideration that the muzzle is a good 2 inches lower than the scope and completely destroyed the heated door mirror of my truck….. 😳 😳

Yeah, Just because you see a nice image in your scope doesn’t always guarantee the doorframe is out of the way!

don’t remember who it was, but a while back someone posted that they forgot to open the window before taking a shot at a bird in their back yard (it was normally left open). You are not alone and we wont tell. 😉
