sorry lads this is as good as my typing gets ,i speak proper but carnt spell for shit,
i left school at 12 to help run my dads firm, now i own it ,so spellin dont matter that much when you have a securtey at work, ok.
as for your matudore it my be graet but untill ther multi shot ther not as good as other top end reg ulated bullpups ,but eds sorted that one. 😉
and thats not knocking edguns in eny way cos im still gonna buy 1 for my xmas prese. 😎 il just get the wife to pay for half 😉

get the bushnell for sure ,
i use a bushnell 5x legend mildot ..cracking bit of kit £400 over here ,but much cheaper in the land of milk n honey a .

ben tayler makes a reg for them the s410 it doubles the shot count (none fac) but yes now you have shared your knowlage i also agree a edgun is the thing to have .(bet you just smiled ) 😉 .

But the mount was too low for comfort and honestly I did not keep it long enough to seriously check poi, but they say it’s good. My Lelya now has high mounts and offers much better comfort when shooting:
I am however in process of replacing the scope with a Bushnell 4200 6-24×50 Tactical for better high range accuracy. The Leupold EFR 3-9×33 is too small for accurate target requisition at 55 yds…. 😉

I am the happy owner of some 30+ high end airguns, – among which are a few HW100s, Daystate AirRanger 50 & 80, Daystate AirWolf MVT and three Huntsmen (all Fac). I am also have the AA410 Carbine, a std Xtra fac as well as the EVO MKIII, a few Rapids from Theoben and a few Falcons. I even have a few BSA rifles, – including the R10…..
And I have the Lelya. A true GEM that opened my eyes to the world of EDGuns……
I have been shooting airguns for more than 50 years, – reviewing them for my Norwegian forum for the last few. I work closely with our Norwegian BluePrinter Egon Olsen who is a good friend of mine. Egon again is closely related to UK’s JB.
The bullpup concept is very different from “normal concepts”, – I think we all agree on that. What makes the big difference between the EDguns and the rest is firstly the quality of machining of the internals, the simplicity and the ruggedness.
Rightfully so I have not been able to lay my hands on a Matador yet, – but ED has today confirmed he has four of them ready for shipment. If they are anywhere near as good as the Lelya, – they will beat the living daylight out of AA410.
All EDguns are regulated, – something which is not true for the bulk of UK produce. (Has AA started to regulate the AA410 now ?) The ones I have provide a shotstring screaming for a reg. Also I have had the unpleasant experience of opening a few of my UK produced Daystates, – and I am sorry to tell their internals look much like they have been carved out by a badly trained beaver with a hangover……
I agree Daystate is in the forefront when developing new technology, and I love my AirWolf MVT which is capable of more than 100 completely even shots at 30Ft/lbs from a 500 cc tankfill of 230 bar. BUT the rifle is big, its bulky and the electronics do not like humidity much…….
The Lelya on the contrary has been with me in snow, ice, rain, on sailtrips and on muddy forest hikes. She delivers all the time, and she can be stuck away in a small bag, even with the airtank included:
My ideal Bullpup would probably be based on a HW100 side lever mechanism, a Tench (or JB) regulator and a loading modification whereby loading could take place with the trigger finger without having to move your hand backwards…
The Dutch pricing I find a bit “out” as VAT has to be paid by 25% on top of the price and freight when shiped to Norway…..
I don’t know much about VAT in other countries, – but I expect the VAT problem to be just as bad or nearly……. 😥
But yes, I agree the price you have been quoted by ED is a bit on the high side……….
But this is the difference between men and boys you know: Merely the price of their toys…. (“Liberace” some years back)…… 😀

For a nice spell checker, add the Google Toobar to your browser. It adds a “Check” to the browser that will check the spelling of anything you are typing into the forum.
You do have to enable that “Tool” as an option though.
Just click on the wrench shaped icon within the Google Toolbar and select Tools from there.
Over time, you might retain the corrections if you observe them.
Just a thought…..
I don’t use it much, but it does come in handy whan I am not sure about a spelling or just want a quick check of my typing if in a hurry.
