Q:

I jumped on the Taipan Wagon!!!!

I placed and order for a .22 veteran shorty, also I have a Sumo coming my way from Florida, thanks Donny!!!
I’m so excited, I always wanted to get this little one, I just moved into a house with a nice backyard with a bunch trees, that means lots of critters to shoot šŸ˜‰
Question, besides the 20moa rail, anti double feed mechanism and the dual transfer port, is there anything else?

I heard 820ish fps is a good speed for accuracy and shoot count. Any input will be much appreciated :8:

Bizill do you still making mag holders, is the veteran shorty using the same size as the veteran standard?

Yes, they use the same magazine holders. Sorry I missed your post. All Veterans, be it .22 or .25 use the same holders. Only the Mutant .22 is different. Single shot tray holders are different sizes for the Veteran .22 and .25, but the mag holders, same. Tony has new stock of Taipans coming in so people have been contacting me it seems. Thank you.

You can not go wrong with the Veteran, The guns are made like a tank,
Happy shooting,
Mike

Pretty much. It keeps cost down instead of making a separate version for the .25 and .22. Both mags share similar dimensions and they could only fit 10 rounds due to the indexing of the anti-double loud feed mechanism.

I would imagine it has something to do with the anti double load.

Do you know why is that?

Only drawback as far as I can tell compared to the Mutant is 2 less pellets per magazine. But in every over way, an upgrade.
