I messed up somewhat, could use some advice.

Long story short: I bought a 62ci tank from JDS Airman thinking that I could just screw in my ETAC to it.
I was wrong, way wrong. Now I have a 5/8-18UNF-2B hole and absolutely nothing to fill it with.
I’ve googled for hours and found no clear way outta this. CO2 tanks can get “unregulated” 5/8-18 UNF pin valves, but they offer up a male 1/2-14 and are probably not rated for 3000psi. Paintball regulators would also fit, but theyd keep me down to like 850psi, and Id still have the 1/2-14 thing to deal with….
Now, I’m not interested in regulating the output from this tank, so I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how I could get this ETAC onto the tank?

Send it to me and I will put 18×1.5mm threads and recut the o ring grove for you.
JDS Tank – Paintball pin valve/Regulator – AirForce CO2 Adapter with Valve removed – ETac
You could gut the paintball valve so its just a coupler and replace the burst disk so it wont blow as you’ll be filling it through the Etac I would assume?
OR get a regged valve from JDS designed for Airguns (more than 800psi) like Mrnewbie suggests and use that instead of the regular paintball valve.
Failing that your options are get someone to make you a coupler. Would be easy for a Local machine shop.

Sorry Fairly, but your gonna have to put something in that hole. There may be some kind of straight through adapter, so you can throw that whole 3000psi at it just like the AF tank does. I dont see why you would not want to send it through a reg…most do, thats why they get your set up. A regulated gun is considered an upgrade. There are several models of Etacs, and Im not up on them, you may wanna exchange that one, or at least look over the jds site and figure out what you need.
Jds also has regs…all set up for us AF guys.

I’m way way spent from trying to find any combination of fittings/couplers/etc.
My google-fu doesnt fail me often, but when it does, it hurts.
