I need a 12mm x 1mm left hand threads threaded rod

I need the rod at least 4″-6″ long in 12mm x 1mm pitch, left hand thread.

Can any of you machinists help me out?

Did you check with mcmaster Carr , msc , or grainger ????

Yep, I looked for a die and the only one I can find is from a guy in China. Sometimes the wait for something to get here is excessive.

Does any one know where I can get a die, in the US?

i hate to say it but youed be better off getting a die and a piece of 1/2 round stock and going to town on it….single pointing a rod that long at that diameter would be a nightmare to say the least and i did a search for all thread and the best i could do was 12mm X 1.75 …sorry i cant be of more help…Greg
