I need a barrel
Anybody know how to get a new barrel for an edgun matador .25 R3.5. Mine is screwed. The breech end wont take a pellet it only jams the pellets. I am pretty sure the barrel is damaged somehow. I take care of my stuff and this is disappointing to say the least.
Please if you know where or how to get one let me know. This sucks. Tried with Tony but he hardly ever answers my emails.
😡 I am pissed

There will be nothing wrong with your barrel.. a soft lead pellet cant damage the hard steel of your barrel.. you will find your problem is a build up of lead on the forward side of the transfer port.. you may have a small sharp bur of steel from the drilling process on the transfer port collecting a skim of lead a the pellet passes it. It could also be a broken transfer port O ring that has come adrift and is partually protrunding into the barrel.. either case your barrel needs to be removed and the problem fixed acordingly. I have remove transfer port burs before with a close fitting twist drill bit just turning it in your hand. some polishing may be required.
A $2000- price can’t over come that.
And Kudos to Earnest for offering a free look and fix if he can.
right on man right on your your great. sarcasm all the way pal
Whatever it is, sure sounds like a owner induced issue to me.

Great point!
I took it apart again and cleared the pellet and tried again. this time it fires and a stray pellet is in the shroud. I reload and it jams even worse as if there are two pellets in there or the damage that happened to the barrel is getting worse. Man I am sick. 2 freakin’ grand.
Hi Kekoa,
When did this problem occur?
Was it maybe after you took it apart some time?
It might sound stupid but:
Did you mount the barrel correct again?
The chamber side at the breech ?
The thread on both sides of the barrel is the same.

Thanks Ernest, I will try a few more things to see if I can clear what is plugging the barrel. If I get stuck I will PM you about how we should go about sending the barrel to you.
Have you made a video tutorial on how to remove/replace the barrel yet by any chance?

If all thing unhelpful to correct your barrel loading problem, send the barrel to me and I will make it right–just pay shipping both ways !

Hmmm. I use Sweets and Accelerator on my PBs and they get right threw it. Might hurt orings though. I use break free occasionally on the pcps but it may not be strong enough when it gets thick. ERNEST?
About 2500 JSB’s. Any tips on how to clear the lead build up I see in the barrel? I have read a bore snake is not good for airgun barrels because they are to soft. I was thinking about trying to push the lead deposit from muzzle to to breech to get it out with a dowel stick or rifle cleaning rod.
Tips or ideas anyone?
How many shots are on the gun?
I did, I ran a few patches through and they were clean. It does almost look like a hunk or mound of lead is at that spot just after the breech and where the barrel start. If I remove the breech block I can get a better view. I will post pictures tomorrow so I can get a better opinion.
I dont know I am thinking that some how there is an imperfection that is hanging up the pellets and causing build up or something, not sure though.
There must be some pieces of led stuck in your barrel…have you tried cleaning your barrel?
Gotta love TAG! You guys offer good support and understand when a matador is down.
Good call on the PM to Ed, I just did that.
I do like the 30 cal shroud design for cleaning. Sounds like it is filled with pellets – maybe barrel too. How many shots on gun?

Update: I cleared the pellet(s) jammed in the barrel. I filled to about 145 bar to be safe and tested fired. It shot as normal. I filled to 220bar and now I get very little FPS. I have no chrony so I cant tell you a number for sure but when I shot at a 2×4 it bounces off.
