I need advise on a pellet holder for my R3 .25
I just got a R3 .25 and I tried to search for pellet holders but not really coming up with much. I did find the one on the flip-flop one. I thought there was one with a check-piece and pellet holder made out of leather but I can’t find it. Any ideas??

They are brilliant and allow for swapping of scopes between rifles without any loss of zero. Overkill in terms of weight though….
Also they don’t qualify as pellet holders which I am led to believe is the topic of this thread ………. 😉

Some foam pipeinsulation slit open and simply stuck under the scoperail. Costs next to nothing, NOT very elegant but very practical. Does not last forever, but one length of insulation is about 6 feet long so you have plenty in spare………….:

I make these using 3/16” thick foam rubber that has an adhesive backing. You can buy the adhesive backed foam rubber at any hardware store. I cut out some flexible plastic strips from a small bathroom trash bucket for the backing. Once the foam is attached to the plastic backing, I mark and drill the holes from the plastic side. The one in the pictures holds 44 pellets; I have made them to hold up to 70 pellets.
The pellet holder is held on with zip ties that I wrap around the scope rail and put thru a front and rear hole in the pellet holder. I have been making these since I got my first Matador and I have been happy with them.
They hold the pellets really well. They don’t drop any pellets while in the soft case as the case is being put behind the seat of my truck and then removed a few times for a day of driving around out in the country looking for something to shoot.
I can use this setup to shoot, cock the gun, grab a pellet, drop it in the open breech, close the bolt and shoot again damn near as fast as if I had a R3M, plus, I don’t have to fuck with loading a magazine!
I have two of these on my condors, I really like them, I have tried to contact FairlyInconspicuous who is the guy who makes them but no luck! I want another one for my R3 .30 cal
AOA sells Wilkins pellet pouches. I have two. They are nice.
Another idea is take a pic rail angle adapter like this

and a short rail cover

and dense foam 1/4″ thick. Adapter mounts on scope rail and provides a short angled rail off to the side. Take foam and cut to shape of rail cover. Punch holes in foam and glue to rail cover. Put cover on short rail, insert pellets in holes and have fun.
I modify a Philips pellet holder.
1) get one with a deep enough pad to prevent them falling out.
2) using a razor paint remover (blade and holder)
3) carefully peel the padding off the backing with the razor
4) degrease the metal surface where it will go
5) optionally cut the holder in to a strip that will fit your gun
6) stick on your gun!

I just throw a couple of them in my pocket…lol…I tried some pellet holders but none felt good to me…
Bought Crossman Pellet Holder and use velcro to stick it in the stock
I’ve seen a few people use a similar method like Ernest on this video.
I ordered one from UK. Made in soft Saddle leather. I think they could have made one with rows of holes to hold the Pellets. My memory is bad since i started poppin´those Pills Uncle Hoot: send me “to ease the pain” … That cranky Bastard. :whistle:
