I NEED some help…..
I have some cash. And I can’t decide what to get. I know it sounds ridiculous and I should just make up my own mind… but I don’t think I’ve fully slept for a week. I can’t decide between a regulated .25 AAA or a .25 Matador Long. What do you guys think? especially those who have owned both. Help me out guys.

I have to agree with oldgoat… If you are not comfortable working on air guns
then you might not want to go with the .25cal because it is necessary to lower
the power to get it shooting accurately. I say this only because there are no
heavy pellets available yet that will fly accurately at the speeds that the
Matador .25cal produces.. It is truly a beast and it is regulated to be that way
shot after shot…..

All Edgun owners tried other, fancier, more expensive, less expensive, PCP’s and all of us ended up getting the Matador. You can spend and lose money now, because you will eventually sell whatever you buy, or just wait a bit and order the Matador .25 Long.
It’s not fun waiting, but it is worth the wait, and cheaper in the long run.
I’m talking experience here…and I bet others would agree.

Shoot I thought I had my mind set. I was going to go for the edgun, but I guess the .25 longs are on hold. I’m patient but to a point. I think I have to go for the condor… Unless one of you want to sell your matador 😆

A “Black Rifle” and an Edgun are two entirely different birds.
If you are a tinkerer, and like to take things apart, mod up the standard versions, spend a lot of time tinkering, then the black rifle is the way to go.
If you want what is probably the best shooting rifle of its kind, out of the box with no mods needed, then the Edgun is the ONLY way to go.
If you don’t like the bullpup design, then take a look at the newest models of conventionally configured rifles Ed is coming out with. You still wouldn’t want, or need, to “tinker” with them. Whatever they need, Ed has already put it in/on them!
All things considered, I’d go with the Matador, in the caliber of your choice, in the size of your choice, with accuracy that is crazy predictable.
I’ve owned three different PCP’s and the Edgun beats all of them hands down. I’m waiting patiently for my second one now. They aren’t cheap, but you will get what you pay for…quality, quality, quality, quality.

Overall with the EDgun, it’s best.
I got the the standard air pistol .177 cal “Veles” and sold it just because it does not produce the power I wanted, but it’s very… accurate compared to other makers.
I also got the the Long “Matador” version .22 cal bullpup, I loved it too, and decided to keep it.
Ordered new Leyla .22 cal, it’s on the way.
My next EDGun will be Morana .25 cal. I will buy it when it ready to ship.

Get the Matador! I don’t have a AAA Condor but, I have a lot of money in a .22 cal Condor. I have a regulated AirHog setup for it and a lot of extra goodies. It is a nice gun but, I haven’t put 20 shots thru it since I got my first Matador. I have a .22 cal standard Matador and a .25 cal long Matador.
There is just something about a Matador that is hard to describe. It goes beyond the fit, finish, design, accuracy and quality of materials. I think that most, if not all, Matador owners would agree with me.
I have my .25 cal. long Matador shooting JSBs at 950 fps for 51 fpe. That was the most accurate speed for the JSBs. I get 40-42 regulated shots at that speed. The .25 Matador can be easily turned up to 60-70 fpe. Shot count and accuracy would suffer.
All that being said, I will have a .25 cal Edgun Morana when they become available.
I love bull Pups and thought that I would never buy another standard stocked air rifle but, to me at least, any new Edgun has to be taken seriously.
The AAA Condor is made for power. Of course its also beautifully blinged up, awesome shroud etc, but its primarily a powerhouse. You stick a reg on there then you will cut its balls off. The Etacreg is incredible, I wouldn’t ever give mine up, but with the highest(I think?) reg output of 2500, the most fpe you will get will be 50-60 fpe. I/m running a 24″ .25 with 2500 reg for 50.5 fpe.
If you go for the Condor from Tony and want to put a reg on, go down a few notches, you don’t want the AAA.
The Edgun is in the same region as the regged Condor, about 50-60 fpe.
Tough choice, but a nice position to be in!
