Q:

i need some info…

What I am looking to know is the standard pressure in a co2 cartridge/ bulk tank….I am gonna go with regulated hpa for my bullpup build but I don’t wanna kill myself ..I’ve noticed that most paintball tanks are regulated at 850psi and I’m assuming that that’s the norm for co2 but figured I would ask to make shure…..I’ve just about got all the pieces to my puzzle now its just gonna be a matter of time to out it all together and dialed in….thanks Greg.

CO2 gas PSI in a compress CO2 cylinder is 852.8 PSI at 70 degrees F per Pyramid Air. But that’s probably figured or corrected for atmospheric pressure at sea level.

A bulk tank PSI, that’s an interesting question. Someone no doubt knows if it is the same or higher.

Never mind ….I did some more searching and found what I was looking for.. 40 degrees Fahrenheit, CO2 has a vapor pressure of 600 psi. At 72 degrees F, it’s up to about 860. At about 80 degrees F, the CO2 vapor pressure rises to about 970 psi. this is all I needed to know …so I’m gonna go for a regulated 850psi.
