I overfilled my condor tank
I overfilled my condor tank to 3500 psi. Is anything ruined?

Common sense
A Hpa air paintball tank or our AF tanks, rated at 3000psi has a 5K burst disk.
A scuba tank , rated at 3000psi has a 5K burst disk
A scba tank, rated at 4500psi has a 7.5K burst disk.
The burst disk is a safety valve designed to blow out before the tank blows up. It is a safety feature, designed to blow out with this thing in your hand without hurting you.
So if a 3000psi tank has a 5K burst disk, what does that tell you?
The tank can withstand 5K easy, more than likely designed to handle at least 6k or more. There is a large safety margin built in.
Use your tank, don’t worry about it. The problem is no one will fill it for you.
I’m not sure what the rating of the burst disk on a AF tank is, Im only making a guess as to its a 5k burst disk. Either way, I would not hesatate to use it.
I regularly. Fill mine to 3200 to 3400 tops and mine seems fine although you will need Tony’s hammer in order to open the valve just my own experience

Replace the disk most tanks that have a woeking preasure of 200 bar are proofed to 350 it will be stamped on the meck of ir bottle so u wont of damaged the intergirty of it. If in doubt have it hydrolic tested.

I have had a burst disk blow on a 80 cubic foot scuba tank just sitting in my basement, loud hissing and it emptied in about a minute, you probably weaken it a little, you might not get away with a 3500 fill again.
It might not be a bad idea to have a new burst disk on hand, so you are not left hanging when and if it does go.
blown discs are accompanied with a mighty hiss, DONT COMPLETELY EMPTY THE TANK AGAIN!(unless necessary for valve work) if there is any pressure in the tank, its fine. a blown disc needs replaced and wont allow the tank to take pressure…(fyi, too much extreme pressure cycling to empty causes eventual work hardening of the tank walls, potentially reducing its safe working life. but youll be okay for now…) try to keep at least a 1k charge if possible
I dumped the whole tank and started to fill again. It is filling so does that mean I didn’t blow the disc right?

edit: The tank will empty and will not hold air until you replace the burst disc.
How do i know if the disc blew?
if the disc didnt blow, youre ok, but i try to avoid much over 3.2k
probably not, but they are rated for a reason… drain some of that air out of it.

I think it should be fine, like you said, but just in case I ordered a new burst disk just to have it on hand.
