I’ve been corrupted by regulated airflow – HW100T w/pics
Even my brief taste of regulated power in a well built airgun (Edgun) has tainted my expectations . I have always enjoyed my CO2 plinkers, some are actually quite good shorter range group makers too. My AF rifles have there place but I feel like I’ve been trying to turn one of them into something it doesn’t want to be. A consistent/relaible target shooter.
Hopefully I’ve taken a step toward filling that gap today.
Just sent off payment on a gently used HW100T in .177. Yes I really WANTED .177, it’s a lot easier to shoot in my backyard.
I snagged it off the yellow but I won’t steal his pics.
This means that I’ll probably thin out my collection a little, including one of the AF rifles – keep an eye on the classifieds!!
oh, and i apologize for distracting from the Edgun threads (including my own 😛 )
Edit/Update – Pics and a quick 20y group 😀
Shooting a steady avg of 942 fps tonight with the CPH .177

Now – the group – yes a mere 20y so no distance bragging on this one. What I do like about is that this is 2 full mags (28 shots) next to my favorite dime. Shot with .177 CPH, Prior owner claims that the guns shots much better with Kodiaks 8) The pellet in the dime is a .22 JSB 18.1.
