Q:

I’ve officially joined the fold now!!!

Just took delivery of an Airhog Condor, gotta give huge thanks to Van Jacobi and his first-rate shop. I ordered it last Thursday, and it’s here the following Friday. No fuss, no muss, no drama. Airhog does a thorough prep on the guns, adjust trigger, bore clean, etc. They also send a test target and threw in a free can of Kodiaks.

As the invoice states, I ordered mine with the “Chassis extender”, which is dead freaking silent. The only sound you hear is the hammer slap and pellet impact. I had a hard time believing it was actually shooting at significant power because it’s so quiet. My chrony quickly erased any doubt. I also picked up the bipod and male foster fill adapter to complete the package…and of course a Wokbutt is on the to do list now!

Wow – I’m speechless, suffice to say excellent service and a most excellent gun. Now I KNOW first hand why you all love these guns sooooo much!!!!! Spitting out Eunjins at 1000 fps sure puts a smile on the grill very , very quickly, doesn’t it?

I’ve made no choice yet to the glass it is going to receive, but I have it narrowed down to the 3 contenders:

Bushy Elite 3200 5-15×40 mil dot
MTC Vipir 4-16×50
or
Sightron 4-16×42 SII Big Sky mil dot

Can anyone kindly advise me about the BKL 260 series 1-piece drooper mounts? Is it better to go with the .004 or the .007 droop compensation, and would this mount with the Tri-rail give me a high-enough sight position from the cheek weld? Does anyone know if BKL makes these mounts to fit a 30mm scope – if I should go with the MTC scope???

Thanks in advance guys!

Is this the 111 fpe model that was discussed some time ago?

Is that a .22 or a .25? Looks great, glad that you are happy with it.

I bought the .22, power is typical for the Condor – about 64 ft/lbs with Eun Jins.

That looks great!

Glad to see and hear that the Wokbutt is working to improve your accuracy. It looks great.

Just think a few weeks ago you did not have any of it and now you are hauling ass big time!

Nice setup. A lot of guys take a long time (and money) getting their guns where yours is at!

What do you think of the trigger?

Thanks, I’m really enjoying it so far.

Trigger is surprisingly smoother than what I expected, I believe AirHog made some minor adjustments before they shipped it out. It’s not unlike one of my worked over Crosman jobs, but certainly nothing as light and refined as the trigger on the Typhoon.

I think a deburring/polishing job is eventually in order, but very serviceable as is.

Coming along nicely…Adam’s Wokbutt came in earlier this week, and the Tac-star grip arrived today. No pliers needed, just a tiny drop of dishwashing liquid and it slid right on.

So far so good, just finished the first can of pellets through it. Even without the best scope height, repeatable accuracy went WAY up with the addition of the Wokbutt. Comfort level followed suite after the grip.

Scope is a Leapers off my Typhoon, and is only temporary for now. I just got the new SIghtron catalogue in the mail, and I’m strongly considering one their new SII Big Sky side wheel scopes.

Not a lot of press on these yet, but looks like a winner for AG applications. Focus down to 10 yds., 60 MOA elevation and windage adjustment, excellent warranty.

Damn, congrats Zombie, even without any accessories that thing reeks of black death wickedness… let us know how it does!

You wont regret it.

You have a real hammer there!

I just pm’d you about the Wokbutt – obviously the gun wouldn’t be complete without on of those…

That looks excellent.

Very nice gun indeed. 😀

Thanks for the feedback, I just installed my big Leapers scope with some high mounts I had lying around and I can already tell that I’ll need the Tri-rail to bring it up more.

I thought that maybe a drooped mount might be the way to go in case I run out of elevation adjustment. Especially with an unfamiliar, new scope. I’d prefer to not have to use a rear shim.

Anyone have any experience with the Beeman 5039 adjustable 1 piece? Looks like it might just be what I’m looking for.

SWEET!!!!! Zombie you did good with the Condor and I’m really looking forward to your write ups on that bad boy. The BKL260 D’s 4 or 7 is really not needed but if the scope runs out than it is and they seem to come in 1″ only. The Tri-rail is a must in my book and it’s a very nice add-on to have with the Airforce guns with the comfort level being very good.

Your making me drool as I’m waiting for mine to be completed and your’s looks so sweet.

Yesterday I ordered the Bushnell Elite 6–24 x 50mm 42-6245T and even though it only focuses down to 25 yards I figure I’ll never be shooting closer than that and if I do a laser will suffice for close up wet work.

Was going to hold out for the MTC Viper but decided for the Bushnell for the proven track record and kudos from everyone on here for them.

Have fun with your new baby.
