Chrisyboy, I have an older model Condor Modded to .308 with Maddog stock. A Condor SS in .25 with 24 inch barrel Two Talon SS one in .177 and one in .22. These rifles are really something. Some folks believe they are not all that accurate but You and I know better. I really have not spent that much time modding my tallons as they were tack drivers right out of the box. I would bet that your Talon in .25 is a Beast. I know mine is. A friend of mine has a 25 yd indoor range with some nice swinging targets made into the backstop. I stopped shooting the swingers because that .25 was hitting them so hard it was breaking them. It is paper targets only when I bring it.

Yes I agree on the safety. Yes as you say if you know your way around an Airforce gun and hold plenty of spares as we both do no doubt then there is nothing to fear. I love playing around with them making little improvements as I go along. I have a talon with condor valving in 25 cal 24 inch barrel shooting really accurately. I’m going to get the condor next as there are some issues trying to run certain condor parts in a talon. For instance I can’t get a heavy talon tunes condor hammer in my talon, so I am having to run the much shorter and lighter talon hammer. Which models have you got?

Thanks Chrisyboy! It will no doubt be an interesting experience playing with this new platform. I really don’t think that air leaks will be a common problem with these rifles. I own four Airforce Rifles, all in various levels of mods. The valves are so simple and there are so many resourses out there. Leaks just have not been a problem for me. The sidelever design that tames cocking effort but still allows decocking is a very desirable departure from the latest safeties on the Airforce Guns. I don’t like shooting the gun in the ground as a method to decock your gun……Have a good one!

Hi Royboy. I’m looking forward to when people like you get hold of it and start fine tuning it as I think it has huge potential. But early marketing videos are disappointing. The latest to appear on youtube they had a leaking gun. I think the gun would be amazing in a smaller calibre. Let us know how you get on with it. Congats on soon owning a beautiful gun. I’d buy it for the side cocking lever alone!!! :fishinghole:

Hello folks! I am new to the TAG. Air Gunner as far back as I care to remember. I am now in my mid 60’s. I do have a problem though as I have came down with an illness that it seems many of you share. I just can’t stop wanting another airgun. I as well have aTexan on order. I just hope it lives up to the hype. I did get to hold one at the Mavern Airgun Show in Arkansas. Seemed to be very solid and well thought out. I am looking forward getting to know you guys !

Still waiting……

Word is that they will start shipping out to distributors on Thursday?

I just paid for mine just now, ,, Now for the waiting game 😉

Hello maw,, good to see ya again, hope you’re enjoying the Air rifle world as much as me.,, Still got all mine and plenty pellets, doing some range firing now with My Talon Tunes rifle, have to say it’s a good one.;)

Hi Shaggy, It does sound like a real hell of a gun.
