If dimples improve the flight of a golf ball, will it help the airgun pellet?
Aerodynamics and physics all tell us that dimples in golf balls improve its flight. I was just wondering if we could apply the same principles to the airgun pellet? Both the golf ball and the pellet are projectiles flying through the same air, subject to the same rules of aerodynamics. I tried to ask google if anyone has done it, but no luck there.
