Well, I own 2 Rem 700’s
one in 223, put a Nikko 4-24 whatever on it
the glass was robbed off my Talon 22
turned out to be a cannot miss PB
from Hell, 300 yards out the set up is basically
lucky I think, I can plink clay pigeons, exploder targets
all day long at 300 yards
I am not gonna mess with that setup. too fuckin good
Now, I have the same 700 in 308, mind you, its
the sps tactical model, with the heavy barrel
These guns are pretty freckin accurate out of box
Anyway, the 308 I put a Nikko 4-12×40 or something
again off the airgun, able
to hit exploders at 300y but kinda a chore
so I ordered this

I sure hope its the right choice, my ACOG on my
Sig516 Patrol is freckin awesome. I will post a review
when I get new glass

Well, recieved scope the other day
from 4scopes.com, saved a $100 and got the scope
2 days after order, actually the guy who runs the
place is pretty cool
anyway, I got a Trijicon 5-20×50
Paid $988 or something
anyway, this svope has a fibre optic rectile
Think about that Hoot?
Glass seems very crisp, lit up Mil-dot + trinyium
basically radioactive back up in total darkness
Right now have a Warne 1 1-4″ rings
think I can go 1″ or less
not sure how low I can go, however, now
with the Butler Creek flip ups, I still have about
maybe 5/8″ clearence to the barrel
Im going with what I have now
might go with 1″ rings later
Ha, never thought I would spend almost x2 on glass
not to mention rail and mounts

Got an order conformation and PayPal notice that they got my money.

thats funny i ordered the same exact scope on dec 28 and it still hasnt been shipped im kind of getting pissed off myself i ordered mine on ebay
and the guy told me with all of this gun stuff going on right now the orders are 5-7 days backed up they better get their shit together i could have bought a new zeiss at the store for that price and had it in hand already. well they got till fri to ship if they dont im gonna ask for a refund and go pick up the zeiss 👿

My Mini 14 shoot off is on Feb 16
we have added a 300 yard comp, wanted new glass
for that
I took trophy last year with my 700/223
wanted to use 700/308 this year just because
right now the 308 has a Nikko, works fine
I just wanted to put some real glass on it
I can always shoot the 223, somehow
the 308 is somewhat more fun though
with the Nikko last weekend I had 2 hits in a row
with the exploders at 300 y, they are about the size
of half a beer can
