JDNC, your on the list behind me for RC’s gun. lol
I ordered a Extreme air guns .45 two weeks ago (not even two full weeks) it was shipped today!
They test fired it over the week end, great service and they kept in touch asking what kind of stock what length barrel what did I want it to shoot for power wise.
I hope it lives up to the Rangers standards but For a couple year less wait I am willing to give it a try! lol
They did say I called at the right time they had a few .45 rifles about to be assembled but seems alot less wait!

Hope to hear from him soon..you would think Roachcreek would send me his. 😆

I got a Quigley a couple of months ago, There was a 3 to 4 week holdup because he had to send it back to be recoated. What he said was that the coater lost 3 employees to the oil fields, all in 1 week. So I imagine things may be a little shaky for awhile at the coaters until new employees are trained. Regards, Tom

Gents…this past November was been two years and I’m still waiting! I just got a reply from Dan, and he advised that my rifle went to be coated this week. Funny thing is just after Xmas he advised it was back and on the bench with 5 others ready for assembly. Where the hell it went I don’t know..but I’m tired of waiting. I will say that he has had a lot in his plate this past year and hopefully things will get going.

like Pig, ON A STICK 😈 Yumm!!!

I’m a vicarious hunter, so, I really like this story!

I just got an email from Andy who lives in Alaska and is a forum member here. He had been emailing me about fill pressures and bullet weights for his Ranger.

He got the Ranger just prior to going to Hawaii to get his pork supply for the year, Andy is a substance hunter.

He shot several hogs, but noticed the power he was getting with just a 2200 PSI fill and 265 grain bullets, and how they were passing thru the hogs and hitting hard on the rocks and ground beyond.

So Andy set up his bait to line up two hogs to see if he could kill two with one shot.

Five lined up instead. He shot and spined one, another ran off with a red spot on its side, he tracked it down and had his two hogs with one shot.

Or so he thought.

Andy being a responsible hunter decided to go back and check for another wounded hog, after all it did pass thru the second one.

Sure enough, Andy found another hog, so he had in fact killed 3 hogs, with a 2200 SPI fill and a 265 grain bullet.

I use a 3900 PSI fill and 410 grain bullets myself.

my teathered ranger 45 … with 36 inch barrel

quote roachcreek:

Just to rub it in. 😉

Did I mention that Dan and I both have Rangers? 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛 😛

And it is a damn good thing, because I am getting rid of my Haley 257 tomorrow.

But only for a week while Doug is fitting the 1-10 barrel to it. 😛 😛 😛

I will be shooting and admiring my Ranger all next week.

Regards,

Roachcreek

GOT RANGER ?

my new bumper-sticker ! 😉 😈

R.C., I just about shit when you posted that! 😯 Not the .257 too???

Whew! 😆

Knife

I got an email from Dan on Apr 19. He is starting to make parts again. Asked me about barrel lengths on my Ranger and Fifty-eight, so maybe not too long now.

I’ve been waiting over a year for a Ranger. I e-mailed Dan a few weeks ago, asking about the status, no reply. I’ll update when something changes or is known.

ya I got my 45 ranger at about the same time Charley did …right at 2 years ago … dam nice gun ! if you have to wait 2 years it will be worth it …… I know it sounds crazy …. but they are that good !

now ….. Dan needs to get his production turned up … hire some help if he has to … every thing is cnc-ed on these guns … they are not built by hand with a hack saw HA ! HA ! so they should be able to be built faster

Mine only took 4 months, but then my serial number is 12, after that things really slowed down, it is a year or more now.

Regards,

Roachcreek
