Are those .177 FX Impact barrels or made from Fx barrel blanks, or aftermarket made ?
second is brass end of the barrel.
third is charging port. if hey fix these problems i will get one too. and why dont they make 177 barrels?
Charging port has been changed, and i received few .177 barrels last week for myself and few friends.
Dream on… sounds pretty sweet though 😛
Ernest has the coolest airgun toys!

If only the FX Impact instead of having a telescoping shroud had a telescoping rear stock it would be one badass bullpup.
How would it work? The barrel would telescope inside the shroud. Coiled microbore hose to allow the the rear section to telescope (think telephone cord). Trigger linkage wise it would have to be some mechanical marvel or do like Daystate and go electronic. They also have to upgrade that hideous grip. $1,800+ and it comes with the worse looking AR style grip ever seen on the planet?

I am right with you , Been following this gun for a while.
I am going to wait until version # 3 comes out and all the bugs have been worked out…
Lot of money for a toy,
Seems like there has been a lot of problems with the first batch that came out,,,,,
But lots of good reviews of this gun,
Still a long waiting list, Like four months or more…..

Yes, that and put Wika pressure gauges on it
Something I would like changed is the manometers, they are not very easy to read, more markings would be nice

I have to congratulate Matt on a outstanding review. It was well done and contained all of the information I wanted to know about the gun. The only down side is that I now have to buy one.
The hammer is not in your ear like in a cricket at least, not sure how loud but I like that feature.
I wonder how the hammer slap is on this gun. Matt said because there’s no linkage, there’s not a metal on metal impact. That would be great. I don’t mind muzzle blast because I know I can control that but the hammer slap is my worst enemy.
I’m thinking the same, if they make a mk2 like with the bobcat then I’d like One in .25
I would love to get my hands on one. Waiting for them to iron out the kinks. Maybe the next version.

I’ve not had time to shoot it yet.
These are .177 Impacts barrels from FX.
