Are these basically a trial and error type of project?
Some of the examples posted look fairly easy, but I still don’t understand exactly where to start. Is there a particular one that a majority would vote as the easiest/most effective? I’m expecting a new Talon SS and additional noise suppression is the first thing on my list.
I’m always so scared of tearing something up that I like it spelled out in crayon. Any recommendations for this scared little boy?

The concept seems simple, but the one major difference is understanding Reflex vs. Reflect. Reflex means to turn a force, while Reflect means to bounce a force. Reflex is much quieter.

You’re not going to break anything with those mods. just make sure there is clear path for the pellet. I’ve found that some washers are not perfectly round and that the holes are not perfectly centered. So yeah, trial and error (after cleaning out the pellet clippings).
In the 80 to 100 $ range you can find some machined parts that will work well and still leave the gun looking stock. Or from 120 – 200 $ you can find shrouds that work wonders but add length. I’d start with the $4 investment in washers and spacer. if you need a little more, experiment. If you need a lot more you need to figure out where to spend the money. The machined inserts will fit better, less POI impact but won’t perform much better than the hardware store pieces. The shrouds will work better but you will have a longer rifle and more $ invested.
