Inconsistent shots with fully tuned condor.

I am hoping someone with more experience than me can give me some advice.
While trying to zero my scope in today I had nothing but inconsistent shots, power and accuracy. My shots were all over, and one I could have thrown harder. I do not have a chronograph right now so I cant get exact numbers, but sometimes could see the pellet which I wasn’t expecting. The Gun is a fully tuned 24″ 25cal. condor. I have not touched anything that Tony has done so I don’t know what the problem could be. I am pumping the tanks to the same psi each time ,and leaving PW where he had it set. I was hoping it was the Superdomes, but Jerry said that wouldn’t explain the power inconsistency. I am using two Airforce tanks which I had Tony get to matching performance. I am using a brand new Hill Pump so the gauges should be accurate. I shoot no more than ten rounds before switching to a 3000psi filled tank. Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the information. Hopefully I get some time before the weekend to try all your ideas. Where can I get a tin of kodiaks or barracudas? I saw someone selling a minimum of 4, but I didn’t want that many. Is there a recommended chronograph I should get?Ill keep you posted as the testing goes on.

Ass83; Switch from RWS Superdomes to .25 Kodiaks, either target or domed. My .25 Condor loves them but spits shit with RWS. Tony’s rifles are marvels but you can’t put shit in them and RWS Superdomes….are shit. AKULA
Given that you have two bottles (and thus two valves) I’d think it safe to exclude them as possible culprits. Which leaves only the hammer-strike and breech. Something is sticking maybe, either the hammer as it comes back on the spring or the breech as it rides on the barrel. Or air could be escaping from inside the breech (you should see, hear and/or feel that).
Is the rifle difficult to cock in any way?
You should contact Tony and present this problem to him first. I’m sure he’ll have some insight on what is going on.

It’s hard to tell whats going on without a chrono. Are the slow shots, the first few you shoot from a tank? Most tanks don’t work well from a full 3000 PSI fill, and that could be the culprit for low power. Fill to about 2700 and see what happens from there. If that isn’t it, the hammer could be sticking or galling. Might put a squirt of silicone spray on the valve stem… don’t use WD40 or other flamable substances. I have not heard good things about the .25 Superdomes to begin with, try a proven pellet. … places to start.

Do any of think think its possible for the pellet to be the reason for the low powered shots? I ask cause Jerry’s Slugs will probably get to me before anything else. He advised I get it figured out before using them in case one gets jammed. I have EunJins ordered at Pyramid, but they keep changing the stock date.
