Q:

info on .25’s

I e-mailed H-N in Germany Monday night. (Day time there) and they e-mailed back the next day with a very nice response.
They seem t genuinely care about their customers.

I also contacted Beeman. I was told by Beeman that they have had the order in for a while now, and expected to have pellets by the end of May-1st of June.

H_N told me that they had just received Beemans order the day before and were running the lot NOW! I got the impression that someone (Beeman) wasn’t being completely forth coming.

At any rate, none of this matches what dealers here are saying with the September 1st listings.

At least we know they will be on the way. 😀

I also had the problem with the Kodiaks , so i decided to test my gun with the new RWS .25cal pellets.

I got the superdomes in .25 31 grain and my gun setup shots them at 920fps and they are just as accurate as the kodiaks.. the super hollow points also are fantastic out to 50 yards, i get just about 1” grouping. The speed that i shot the hollow points is maximum 960fps
Both pellets were tested at 50 yards on paper

Hey SAW. The poster came in yesterday. Love it! Thank you.

Hey Adam! I’ve got a better idea. Move to Texas.. I’ll teach you how tho make the Knives, then I’ll just sit back and drink Ice Tea and watch you work. For a small cut of course! 😀

Thank you so much Jzobel. I may have to take you up on it. A member here is sending me a tin and a half. WooHoo!

Yes GT Blue Jay! I did ask, and I ask where I could buy the HN’s here in the States. Neither question was answered in the e-mail they sent me. I have seen the HN Barazudas for sale from time to time. Pyramyd use to carry them in the match grade for the same price as the Kodiaks. This was in the .22

I will say that their answer was not the usual cooperate memo. They actually answered in a fast, and nice way. Even complimented me on my Knives! 😀

If I didn’t already use their product, I would now!

did ya get the poster I sent ya????

I ordered 8 tins from Jeremy. They arrived in perfect condition a couple of days ago.

Thank you.

jzobel-
I currently have an order with ya from the yellow, can’t wait for it all to happen, also if ya have the connections brother take the ball and run.
Screw beeman, I have talked to them on the phone, and realized that whoever mans or womans the phone is just there 9-5. Doesn’t really care about anything.
I welcome you to this forum and hope you make something of this.
Bypass the middleman 😮 😮 😮
Judging what I have read, there is a serious shortage of this pellet.
More power to ya

Beeman is the sole distributor of H&N pellets in the US. There are a few places that sell H&N as well. Such as the Olympic stuff, but it is expensive. Beeman really does do a terrible job. We should rally together and have H&N just send pellets as H&N and not Beeman relabeled. The Kodiaks cost 1/2 the cost in Europe and elsewhere as they do in the states, because Beeman has to add their cut. Mike if you really get in a jam let me know and I can send you a tin or two. Beeman does the same thing with Sportsmatch mounts. They take a decent UK made product, put their name on it and charge more. Then they are always backordered because it takes them too long to re-package it. Beeman has definitely strung people around, as most of them have no clue what they are talking about. I have a FWB import pistol and the expert gunsmith couldnt even recognized what the pistol looked like, but wanted $90 and hour to work on it. No thanks. Sometimes I am shocked that they still are in business. It sucks for us .25 guys because for many that is the sole pellet that groups well. Rumor has it JSB will soon be making .25 as well. But getting JSB can sometimes be just as tough.

it doesn’t surprise me that beeman is full of it, probably just another ploy to raise prices for no real reason.

mike did you happen to ask them why we can’t just get the h-n here without having to rely on beeman?

Mike,

Good luck with the move and I will be glad to store any of your knifemaking equipement for you 😛

No doubt you are correct! 🙁

(My wife is also from Germany. I love it there I am half German. Half American Native. I love it in Germany. So much to see and do.)

It’s just that Beeman has been claiming that they ARE ON ORDER for some time now. That is what dealers are telling me. Looks to me like Beeman really dropped the ball on this one. 👿

I wish I could place an order with you. However, the shop is being shut down for this eminent domain move. I have to keep all meager moneys close right now. I don’t know how long it will be before we are up and running again.
I very much appreciate what you have offered to do for the people here.

Looks like the shop will be moved end of next week.

Mike

Mike-

I have a family member than works for H&N, I am originally from Germany….and what they told you is correct. However it will take them sometime to fulfill Beeman’s large order. Upwards of a month, as it is not their only order. Once it is complete it is shipped via Freight to US customs. This can take any amount of time. It is then received by Beeman and redistributed to their dealers. It is possible for the pellets to be received by US customs around the June 1st mark. But by the time it reaches US dealers, I think the Sept 1st late August mark is more realistic. But certainly Beeman and US dealers have no idea.
