You can say that again…they never seem to run out of energy and they’re willing to try new things. My boy is only 10 months old yet you compare him to his mom and he looks like a fully grown adult male.

awesume lookin dogs, mines 2 in 4 days and all black,be ready to get in shape cause these dogs will wear you out

ASMALLVOICE, Now that is a nice little fella. Hes got to be alot of fun to play with.
Good luck with him. Make sure Wifee plays alot with him to help bond.

Take care, Bob

Actually, they have been nice dogs. I keep them kenneled up then let them out to roam the whole yard when I get home from work. They will let you know when someone or something is close by. The one in the front is the son to the one in the back. Her grandsire is Yasko Vom Farbenspiel, a 2x world champion. Both her parents were german imports and I was lucky enough to get her. She’s the West German lines. I got her when she was 18 months old. Now she’s 3 years old. Her son is now 10 months old and he’s a lot bigger and taller than she is. This litter was outstanding and smart, but they are a lot of work to take care of everyday. Everyone that got a pup out of this litter got their dogs stolen and so I’m glad I kept the son and mother.

A photo of them both when he was still a little puppy.

Awesome looking dog. I have two as well. They are very smart and learn quickly either to behave or to be mischievous. But they are great guard dogs.

Awesome Lookin Pair M8. I can almost bet you have no trouble from local feral cats…lol

The ears naturally start to stand at 4 months ( still floppin at rest) after he is done teething at around 6-8 months they will be that way all the time. It is typical for this breed. There are some instances where taping has to be done if they do not stand on their own.

Thanx for the compliment, he is the wifeys protector when daddy isnt home..lol

German Sheppard is my favorite breed. So smart and very loyal.

Good looking dog

Did you have to tape the ears or did they stand up naturally?
