Far as the bottle up front, your going to loose the energy level you can have with the air charge coming from straight in-line with the direction of the discharged pellet… Least the ability of the most energy…
Now if you are settling on a certain smaller amount you can get there easy enough, but the simple fact your going to be pushing to much air through a smaller more restrictive path and your going to loose the efficency of what we have with the straight in-line path…
Now you could get some of this back by using a prechamber, then a regulator to even the flow, much like the Rapid does with basically the same path of air flow… Guess for you guys that think yopu gota have, you could make this do the do,but???
On the other hand, the bottle adapter with offset was nice looking indeed… I liked that…
I didn’t see anything you guys copied and pasted here that was shorter OAL… What is with that??? The guys there just big power hungry guys wanting all they can get from their air rifles you think??? Maybe they don’t have the prechamber sized right to get enough power from the rifles with all the extra path they added to the air discharge??? Not sure what is up with all this…
I just feel that those that ever shoot one of these rifles setup in the shorter OAL, they would be as nuts about them as I… Sure I have the way friggin’ long OAL air rifle that is great for downing Prairie Dogs at good distances and knocking the pecans out of the top of the trees at 100 yards away, but the shorter OAL rifles are just much more fun to shoot most of the time…
Is interesting to see what everybody does with their stuff and how they go about it… Take it all together and use the best from each other and you might end up with something really steller for sure…
i like to bottle adaptor, i bet alot of guys would pay good money for one, what the hell are you waiting for wok, i need one. lama i agree with you, we defintally need to step it up.
I’m really liking the sliding stock and bottle up-front. This would make for a great compact hunting rig.
