Q:

Internals of TalonSS ….

Does the TalonSS have some sort of internal shroud or baffles ?
Other than the end cap what is it that makes it silent ?

I’ve owned both Subssonic and GTBJ Talon modifiers. Both are top quality gear. Sub’s if you want OEM short, but effective. GTBJ if you need really serious silence, with only a few inches added to length.

Tony has one that is full sized, but it’s so quiet you’ll wonder if the rifle even fired.

There’s some very exceptional gear available on this forum.

AND that’s why women can’t measure anything…they’ve been told all their lives that ______________________________________________________

is eight inches!

LOL!!!!

na… I do it with only 3 inches and a hiflow valve 😉 … lol

That’s what she said…:P

A SS with 12″ barrel needs baffles and at least a 4″ shroud to get it to a point to be considered quiet

The SS is quieter with the end cap in place then not in place.

But it is not silent…far from it.

To get an SS very quiet you will need baffles and even then at full power it can still be heard. If you turn it all the way down it becomes pretty quiet.

AirForce lies…. lol

yep, subsonic make a nice little insert that keeps the stock length,
here is a link to the thread about them

Thanks GTBJ I was under the impression that it was a silent gun (as advertised by Air Force) .Are there any internal baffles or some sort of internal shroud available for the SS which will not increase the length .

there is nothing inside of them… just an end cap, and they are Far from silent!
