Is 24" barrel much louder than 18" in a Bulls-Eye
I am going to try a Bulls-Eye Bill frame extender and put some baffles in it. I am getting the longest one (extends 10″ past end of frame on Talon SS).
Will an 18″ barrel be significantly quieter than a 24″ in that arrangement?
It seem like the end of the muzzle on the 24″ barrel will only be approx. 4″ from the end of the Frame Extender.
Thanks,
Greg

yes the long one will be quieter with the 18″ barrel than the 24″.
my first “shroud” was a BB extender w/ the 24″ .22 cal bbl. With a few hardware store baffles added, it was quiet enough for backyard shooting.
Fit your “baffles” carefully or leave the hole through the center a little oversize to avoid clipping. The more parts you put inside the harder it is to keep them perfectly alligned.
