Is my Crony reading right?
I have posted the speeds and power that my gun was shooting and a few folks are saying that they think my crony is off because of my numbers with my new Condor. According to the device I was got readings of 1045, 1030, 1024, 1020 fps at full power 3000 psi/using no insert in TT one piece Top Hat and Hammer Slap Mod with 43.2 gr Eunjins? Is the Crony a liar?

No no no no !!!
Sounds a little “hot” to be true. Try increasing the distance between the muzzle and the chrony and see if that changes your readings.

The short answer is no; at least I don’t think so. I will blame your lighting conditions though.
Sometime ago I played around with seeing what kind of max FPE I could get with my factory stock Condor .25 with a 24” barrel. I vaguely recall about 75-80ish FPE with the EuJin 43g. That would put it around 900fps.
Tony’s fully tuned AF Condor with 110 gram hammer is able to achieve 90 FPE averaging 80+ FPE. His chrony printout shows a max of 973fps.
I have no idea if your chrony is faulty or not, but again, my guess is the lighting is causing your erratic readings. If you’re using something other than ambient light, try using a lower watt ouput or raise your light source up higher. Also, be sure to use a seperate light source for each pickup.
When I set up my chrony in the shop, I tried using two clamp on desk lamps with 40 watt bulbs, one over each pick up. I got erratic readings and sometimes no readings. I installed 25 watt bulbs and that fixed the problem. I believe my chrony is correct as I can use the FPS in conjunction with Chairgun and in the field my holdover is pretty much spot on.
I’ve not had too much luck in using natural (sun) light with or without deflectors.
I know that Shooting Chrony is a bad, bad word for some folks here. Mine has worked flawlessly, including the printer, over the last two years and tens of thousands of pellets.
