is my pump broken???
i dont know if my pump is broke or if it has something to do with the resavour but i was just filling up my tank earlier and when i got to about 2800 psi the needle on the gauge just started to go back down to zero very quickly and the pump then became impossible to pump downwards, i even put my whole body weight as hard as i could and it would not go down and i quickly release the bleed valve and tested some shots. but now whenever i try to pump my tank up, i will do the first 5 or so pumps so the gauge will start to read the pressure but when this part happens the needle on the gauge starts to go back down to zero and the pump gets impossible to pump downwards what the heck could have happened for this to happen? this is just my luck….

No i have not had to yet. i have only had it for a couple months. It is still pumping like a champ.
Hills are great pumps, this is my second one. I sold my other one along with my .25 sumatra. they are a “little” more expensive but worth it.
Bikincrazy have you had to replace the O-rings in your Hill pump(assuming you have one.) yet? if so how long was it before you did?
Before you attempt to take it apart, send it in for a replacement. Then sell the replacement on the yellow, and buy a hill pump.
That is exactly what happened to mine … same problem as you described. Yeah, the o-ring is burned and worn out. I tried to disassemble mine (Airforce pump), but gave up on it as it’s not very user-friendly – therefore, being non-user serviceable. So, I got an Ultraglide pump instead and replacing the vulnerable o-ring is only a five-minute job.
The 3rd stage seal is shot.

I agree, you gotta get a hill, my brothers got the original model, never did anything but very lightly grease with silicone every 6 mos, trigs rite about the scubas, they are badass
