Q:

is the airforce valve supposed to look like this inside???

ok, i have been having horrible accuracy lately out of my talonP

called airforce and they told me to send it in.

i had recently put a larger 22ci tank on it and wasnt sure if that would void the warranty or not,

so i started thinking about why the accuracy that was never really all that great suddenly got worse.

i pulled the valve out of the bottle and looked into the bottom and saw that a piece inside was cocked to the side.

ive never had the valve apart, only moved the valve assembly from the stock tank to the new larger tank.

im including a pic,is this supposed to look like this?

quote Dyotat100:

I doubt that would cause any problem but it could be putting a little bind on the stem. It might hurt you also if you were looking for max power.

Use something to see if you can get the spring to go back into the center. There is a recessed spot on the end for it. If not unscrew it enough to make it easier.

but its not something that could ruin accuracy, correct?

this gun is driving me crazy lately with horrible flyers that translate into 50yd groups of 4″ 😯
