Is there a "Valve rebuild for dummies" step by step on TAG?

I looked and unless I missed it, it’s not here. I’m asking here, is it something the Avg. Joe can/should try or is it best left to pros? Btw I have a Hi-Flo and a Talon valve and they both leak. T.I.A. for any/all advice.

If the tank leaks faster at low PSI it could be the delrin valve seat.
One of mine would leak slowly below 1700 but much more rapidlybelow 1000.
I made up a tool to easily remove the brass valve guide (after PSI was ZERO) and found two problems. The delrin seal was groves and the brass seat had a burr and tiny nick.
So I resurfaced both and no problems since then.

AH NUTS…HOW’D THAT GET IN THERE?
