Just what they said, the R7 is suppose to be Docile and DEADLY accurate as it’s just what it was designed for.

Want more power then it would have to be a R9, R1, or if you want to switch over and save a few bucks and tinker a little: RWS 34 and slap a spring tune in, RWS 350, RWS 460, RWS 48-54. I love my JM springed RWS 34’s and 48, though my .22 RWS 52 shoots awesome for factory and am not going to pull it apart. (RWS 34 panther refurb/demo’s were around $130+S/H directly from Umarex, .177 or .22.)

How old is the R7 ? Their springs aren’t very good and will fatigue.

Put in a Maccari tune kit.

It will never be a Talon but I love my R7 😀

Thanks guys other told me the same i will just leave it be it’s smooth as silk anyway

X2 What Walt said. Get yourself an R1. An R7 is supposed to be mild mannered, quiet and pleasant.

The R7 is supposed to be tame, that’s the whole idea. Easy to cock and easy to use for a smaller shooter, and also pleasant and soft report. You can get a spring kit for it that will give you a bit more, but you’ll need a spring compressor to take it apart.

aloha,
walt

You could send it to a tuner for a “power tune”. If you want to do something yourself you could put all new seals in and make sure the spring is not overloaded with grease. Probably won’t get you 100fps but should get you some depending on the seals condition.
