Q:

Is this a AF gun part?

I was target shooting today, and after putting the 30th or so pellet in, I shoot, and right away I hear this very noticable “TINK”… the sound this screw made hitting the glass table top I’m shooting off of.

It’s exactly as if this fell from the gun to make that noise. It also has a Allen head underneath. I’ve never seen this screw before, in the teardowns I’ve done anyway… anybody know if this is a gun part that got loose and fell out? And if it is, where does it go so I can put it back. I looked everywhere. Almost thought it was some new fangled hollow point pellet lol

Im just surprised DH hasn’t got back blasting WOK for putting his name on Wok’s image on the photo LOL. Im posting this from my phone so if this comes out weird, oh well.

Hey Riff you got it! It is one of two set screws that hold the side wheel on the side focus turret… guess it got loose and couldn’t withstand the massive recoil of my TSS lol… good call. I knew it dropped from my gun from somewhere! Mystery screw case closed. 😛

Don’t worry. It appears as though you have only discovered an ancient and petrified rat pellet. It alsp appears as though that pellet was splattered on impact with the ground. 😕
