Q:

Is this right on the condor?

Hey all.

So i was shooting my condor in my yard today and i noticed something, and i want to be sure my gun is working ok, it shoots just fine, but i want to be sure whats happening is ok.

In this 1st image we can see that behind the part you push back to load the pellet, there seems to be a rubber ring? of some-kind and then what seems to be a piece of tubing made of metal.

In this image, the gun has a pellet in the barrel and is loaded. safety is on.
however that part of the gun is now missing and i can see the barrel inside that the pellet travels down.

My question is, is it normal to be able to see a gap like this when im about to fire? iv not noticed it before and i would hate to be using it, if its causing damage.

Thanks if you reply!

Thanks for the reply.
Even though iv used my gun for about a year now, i cant ever recall seeing it like that!

That was your hammer uncocked

and

Then cocked

the piece you see is the hammer and so when it is cocked the hammer is in the rearward position ready to be released so you dont see it 😉
