Q:

Is this true?

-Kalibre Cricket is the Beatles of the Russian airgun invasion an Edgun is the Rolling Stones?
Hello from California.I’ve been lurking and learning from all of you. Thank you.
I’m trying to decide between a .22 cricket compact vs standard and the three stocks. Grateful for fresh input.
ps If Wildwest had a Leyla ready to ship… oh man!

Humble regards and hello, Slim

Ze Zermans like lots of weird and kinky stuff so why not Cricket ??

Nope! D H is much like a Gamo. Basically worthless. well, The German Girls like him. Doubt that the G’Girls think much of the Cricket.

Would that make Willie Nelson the Edgun and David Hasslehoff
a cricket?

Slim,
Please base your purchase on something other than your analogy.

My MEDS wore off, and my ranting took over.

Best of luck,
Happy devotees of both mfgs. exist,

I think we should compare apples and aardvarks, cause, after all, shit, lost my train of thought . . .
meds are wearing off. Oh yeah . . . Dammit, forgot again . . .

Oh yeah, truth, cause . . .

Only state in the union where they put up fences to keep the fruit from picken the people.

Really “dude” crickets, are so, like, Buddy Holly, man, and . . . Edgun and Elvis start with E, and Elvis is king , so, you know, like, buy a Weimaraner, and HEY, DON’T BE A BOGART , and pass it, man . .

Sorry for rant.

It’s more like the Edgun is the Beatles,
and the Cricket is the Moody Blues.
We can associate a Lennon/McCartney (Ed) with the Beatles (Edgun).
There is no one we readily associate with the Moody Blues (Cricket).
The Moody Blues came way after the Beatles to the US, like the Cricket.

I have an Edgun (Imagine John Lennon); a Cometa Lynx (poor man’s Edgun,
as far as accuracy; analogous to, I’d say, Enrique Iglesias;
but more manly, not for teenage girls); and a Condor, with the evolution in airguns
that has taken place in the past five years, I’d say it’s my Jerry Lee Lewis of the bunch
— Great Balls of fire, lots of power, finess not its strong point, made John Lennon (the Edgun)
possible).

So, sorry to say, whereever you may have been lurkin’ and learnin’,
the Beatles/Stones analogy is unfortunately not true. The Beatles have
outsold the Stone 5 to 1, ‘don’t think that’s true of the Edgun compared
to the Cricket.
