issues refilling tank
Bought a used Condor that came with a hill pump .
Pumped up the non spin lock tank up to 2000# & hose adapter on tank was almost impossible to remove from the tank.
Tried bleeding pressure off hose with the pump bleed screw , but it drains the tank & not just the hose.
The tank valve will open during the last 1/2 turn when screwing on the tank end of the pumps hose. Is this correct ? I see no way to bleed off the hose pressure if the tanks valve is open.
Any ideas ?

I’d unscrew the fill port nipple and check the o ring and check for rust or any thing that might be interfering with it sealing.

No quick detach nipple, have a pre spin lock setup.
Am having issue with the airforce hose adapter that screws directly on to the bottle .
