Peter’s lenses are still cheaper than EDgun.
My favorite lens is Fuji 56mm f/1.2 π
Nice lens …………. nice price too, but great pictures Sir !
Now days for me it’s point and click with le cheapo digital cameras ……… quality comes with a price, even now days it seems.
Still have my Canon A1 analog in mothballs, but it still working !

f/5.6 no way! Usually between f/1.2 and f/2.8

PiterM,
What F stop are u using, f 5.6 aperture ?
~ Greg, p.s. was into professional photography back in the 8ties.
PiterM, we all like Ed’s work, without distinction between those that have some interest and those that don’t. π
Cricket -> no idea what’s been used on Matador. I got it done (strippling, finish) by my buddy here in Poland. He also polished and relubed it inside. No idea what he was actually using. He’s a knife maker so he surely knows how to work with wood…
Pippo -> so far it’s my own fun with my own money… but who knows what future brings? One thing is for sure – I really like Ed’s work! And my camera likes it as well π
He is doing Ed’s promo stuff π
That’s one shiny Edgun! Nice shot.
You should be doing Ed’s promo stuff. He needs to send you some R4’s, new Lelya’s and Leshiy’s. π

Hey piter, remind me what oil you use when refinishing? Does your stock feel sticky? Does it smell? Do you make many coats of oil or just a few?
Most important question being if it is oily/sticky/slimy to the touch after using the oil
Got one more. In a shadow of a forest. Enjoy π

My Matador .22 is super smooth too. Works perfectly every time. The .25 I had to polish the action to get it working perfect however.
Never had a chance to try Cricket. My Matador is fully polished inside, got stock refinished and grip customized. It’s supersmooth to operate…
You lucky boy, wish I could say the same.
Have you a direct comparison to the Cricket Compact?
Personally I think Ed is missing a real short/compact in his offer.
(I don’t consider the pistol Veles in longer stock (Lelya) to play in the same league).
What’s not to like? It’s great for shooting with bipod, complements a smaller bullpop (Lelya) perfectly. I like the ballance and smooth operation. Accuracy is awesome, but that we all know. It’s just fun to shoot.
And I just love the look of it! I know there are other cool bullpups on the market but that thinnnnnn/faint barrel in the middle of Crickets, Taipans, etc… can’t even imagine using such ‘pellet device’, I prefer more ‘gunnish’ look. BTW, Vulcan looks quote OK π
