IZH 46M Match Air Pistol
I have been slowly researching the pistol market for a Cicadae hunter (they’re coming next year) and have it down to a few choices. First is the Edgun Veles but I need it in .22 caliber. Maybe 30 shot. Top notch match pistol.
So they discontinued the Veles for a while because of high manufacturing costs. Are they back?
The second is the single pump IZH-Baikai 46M Match. Its nice because there is no power source to carry around and fill. One pump does it but not match the power of the Veles and is only .177 but is about half price.

Heard from Innova and my VIP MSP kit modded IZH 46M should arrive on Friday. I also ordered a weaver mount and 4 tins of JSB 8.4 grain pellets 500 ct to start. 😀 I guess this makes me a prepper for the coming locusts. 😆
I haven’t had any response from these guys [Innova] (Mike Stone is it?) I emailed Steve in CT a few times and he still makes the VIP MSP kits that Innova uses and apparently they work very well. Anyone know anything? Web site says they don’t have any new guns. The phone number goes direct to voice mail.

Nice. There are ways to get things into the US w/o an importer. 😳 Where is it made?
The seasoned hunters, though, have found that it is desirable to have a pump or single stroke because the enemy will number in the thousands and it is a pain to have to keep filling them. 😥
… Well… Not a IZH.. But it would make one heck of a Cicadae Hunter…
Picked up the pistol from AOA last week… Three 8 shot Rotary Magazines… approx 100 shots per fill at 4.7 FPE approx.
I put the red dot on to do some Plinking… All I can say is… WOW… Sub 1/2 inch at 25 yards with a 3MOA red dot.. I am sure with the right scope i could shoot a 25 yrd Bench Rest Match and Not come in Last…HAHAHAHAHa….(Not Bad for a 10meter Target Pistol)
… The gun is Double Action OR Single Action…. Was designed as a Bullseye Rapid Fire Trainer…(I Think?)
……….The ONLY Problem is no one is currently importing them… so gotta find them on the second hand market…BUT worth searching for!!!

Just found out that Steve from NC who makes the HDD, AF Super Sears, among many other modifications makes the VIP MSP upgrade kits for the IZH 46M that Innova uses. That’s cool. :8:

Wow. Thanks for the good link. I have a rich retired buddy and he often sits around and shoots dragonfly’s with his IZH 46M. He swears by it.
Any references on these guys? They even hide their contact information on their web site which isn’t a good sign in my book b4 I shell out $500 to them. Their number is Pasadena, CA.

When I got in the list for the .25 r3m Tony had said veles was available for $1400.
