Jack Haley 457 and Rapid 25 at 130 yards
This is a small video from one of my outtings. 2 this day, airguns still amaze me. Big bore or Small bore.
I placed 2 water bottles on a rock at 130 yards away and wanted to see what my 450 FPE Jack Haley could do at that distance. I was shooting Lyman 338.5 grain 457 HP’s cast by Sure Fire Slugs. They were travelling 776 FPS on this shot for 452 FPE. It only took 1 shot and needless to say, i was very happy with not only the JH457 but the Sure Fire Slugs. Although i have been shooting Sure Fire Slugs for some time now, this was the first day that i tested these particular bullets. So for them to nail a water bottle dead center on the first shot…impressed me. Can’t wait for my new Lyman HP mold comes back to me from being Modded.

80G: My zero is at 50 yrds lasered. At 130 yards, the Point Of Aim is MILDOT 4.5. I only have 4 mildots but 4.5 is between the 4th lower mildot and the bottom thick crosshair post. I figure the top of the bottom post is good for 150 yrds+ (testing on that theory to come later).

NICE! The rapid looked like it barely knocked the bottle over, but the JH with the surefires…man that is some power. what is your zero set at on that JH?
