JDS Airman Valve????
This is the business end of an AF C02 adapter.
This is a side view, is that not a burst disk I see?
And, here is the other side. Is that hole used to take that valve out?
Sooooo….why can’t that valve come out, be screwed into a Talon air tank, and be used as a high flow valve? Isn’t the valve’s purpose, to provide a high flow interface to the Talon from the JDS Airman regulated tanks???? Has anyone ever done this?

I called AirForce today and they told me that about a year ago, they changed out the old Condor valve in the C02 adapter, to the new and improved valve they use today, and sell alone for the princely sum of $109.25!
So, if the C02 adapter is fairly new, mine is this summer’s model, then I have, in my possession, a current Condor high flo valve (which I have been assured by AF to be of the highest possible quality!!!)…waiting to be used with the new heavy brass hammer Pulaski put in my rifle……which has the 18″ .22 caliber LW barrel….DEATH…THY NAME IS HOOT!!!!!

The valve in the CO2 adapters are the shitty old condor valves and you do not want to use it.
The new condor valve is much better.
hoot you can switch the whole valve assembly.
but the internal parts can not be changed out. the valve stem, top hat and one of the brass pieces are different.

Yes Hoot, it looks like you just need to unscrew that valve from the reg and you will have a standard (hiflow?) valve that you can screw direct to the bottle.
I don’t care about the regulated part, Mam…..what I am curious is whether this valve would substitute for a blodnob, Condor, or Lang high flow valve?
It just looks like it would release a LOT of air, if the regulator wasn’t part of the system, and the JDS valve was removed, screwed into an AF air tank, and used alone.
I guess I didn’t make myself clear in my post…but then, I AM from Arkansas 😯

The JDS regulated tanks are only regulated when you put a regulator on
it…The only way to make it work with an AF guns is to screw the
regulator into the tank, screw the AF co2 adapter to the regulator, and
then screw the whole thing on the gun….If all you do is put the AF valve
on a bottle then all you have is an AF valve on a bottle just like the AF
tank that comes with the rifle…
Regulators will not fit on an AF tank and AF valves will not fit on a
regulator tank….
